Mr. Philbin is a 25-year real estate professional who served as the Global Head of Industrial Brokerage for Avison Young. In this capacity, he was responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of the industrial group strategy for the more than 100 offices globally, as well as recruitment and integration of new team members. Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Philbin was the Head of Asset Management for Brennan Investments where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a $1.5B industrial portfolio. His responsibilities included leasing, property management, project management, tenant improvements, capital improvements, budgeting, taxes and insurance. Additionally, Mr. Philbin spent 17 years at CenterPoint Properties where he began his career as a maintenance engineer before becoming a property manager, then Regional Manager and ultimately the Vice President of the Central Region. In his role as the leader of the Central Region, Mr. Philbin was responsible for a 150-building, $2.5B portfolio including leasing, property management, asset management, capital projects, budgeting, tenant improvements and NOI in excess of $100M annually. Mr. Philbin also opened CenterPoint’sfirst satellite office, hiring and managing a team responsible for over 10M square feet of industrial assets.
